Sheesh.

Judging by the reactions of some sisters regarding the previous post...it seems like i have some explaining to do.

For those of you who don't know, in Canada early this year, an 11 year old Muslim girl was not allowed to play for her football team because the officials of the league felt the hijab/tudung was unsafe or something.

Perhaps if the hijab/tudung was on fire & burning everyone to a crisp or if it contained flesh-eating bacteria, they would have a point. But it's no more dangerous than the boots that the players wear. It's simply another piece of garment in their eyes.

So the previous post was based on this very incident...& perhaps takes a look at what WOULD happen if things were as bad as they say it is.
