Peanut butter is his best friend.
He enjoys reading graphic novels.
Superheroes rocks his boxer shorts. His heart is as strong as a rock.
He is as gentle as a flower.
Hijabs are cool, but so are beards.

Something About Everything

Bismillah

A whole lot of things i wish to talk about, especially regarding the happenings on wednesday...as on that very day i went back to Pulau Tekong to attend Hairi's POP

The realisation dawned on me that...I MISS EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ARMY

SAR 21, M203, SAW, LAW, training outfield till the wee hours of the morning when everyone else is in la-la land, rappelling from 20 metre high cliffs at Changi, doing river crossings, hopping on board a Super Puma helicopter flying from Yishun to Marsiling, getting on an assault boat doing my Watermanship course at Seletar, getting lost in the jungle & finding your way out to the next checkpoint, training in Taiwan, getting fcuked up right left center by officers everytime you screw up...the list goes on.

All in all, the experience gained is invaluable as i initially thought that NS didn't really stand for National Service...instead i had always felt that that it stood for NATIONAL SLAVERY

I mean back then when i first got enlisted, i felt i could have done a lot with the 2 1/2 years of my life that i was to serve with the SAF...for one i could have continued with my studies...but instead...for the next 2 1/2 years the jungle would be my 2nd home and the SAF, my 2nd Mom.

And maybe there is some truth to the meaning what the SAF really stands for....not Singapore Armed Forces but Serve And Fcuk Off...

Anyway, watching Hairi pass out with his SBO & helmet on with the M 16 by his side...i suddenly feel the itch to get hold to an M 16 rifle...touch it, hug it, stripping it, assembling it, loading it...fire it...

Maybe Al-Qaeda should hire me *deadpan*

Speaking about Al-Qaeda, news is that Zarqawi is dead...apparently the US bombed him dead...thats what the US love to do nowdays anyway...that is to bomb people.

I was just curious though that he was'nt blown to smittherins, his head was still intact...still with Zarqawi dead, other people will still emerge to replace him...it will never end....

Nevertheless...with him dead...the US has one less problem to deal with...

And if you're thinking that i'm a Al-Qaeda sympathiser...no, i am not...

If you really claim to follow the Quran and Sunnah...you won't go around bombing and killing innocent people would you?

People who do so are complete dickheads that tarnish Islam as a whole and making a mockery out of the message that Prophet Muhammad SAW took pains in bringing to us.

Alritey, next up is the issue about the now "defunct" has been prime minister of Malaysia, Dr Mahatir...he's taking swipes at the the current PM Abdullah Badawi or affectionately called Pak Lah...

I was thinking what is up with this dude dissing the very same person whom he chose to succeed him as PM...something is probably not right up there in his head

If i were Pak Lah....i would have probably thrown Dr M into jail, lock him up and throw away the key.

Dr M should probably shut his gap and zip it...his time is over...soo he should just leave it at it and just let Pak Lah do his job.

If he has got a problem with the way Pak Lah runs the country...he should just come up to Pak Lah and say it straight to his face...you don't diss other people in public...that's not cute.

With that said...the World Cup is here!

I caught the opening game last night, it was certainly no bore.

6 goals, end to end action, free-flowing football...what more can you ask for?

Its great that Masjid Darussalam and Masjid Al-Istighfar are screening the matches live to pull in the youth...

What i do not understand is people are questioning the initiative...whether its a good move and all.

Well, i say as a youth that its a brilliant idea...

It brings us closer to the Masjid hence brings us closer to Allah...masjid itu kan Rumah Allah.

During half time....there will be motivational talks by the imams of the respective masjids.

You can do qiyam as well...and if the match is at 3am...you can always stay on to catch Fajar prayers.

All in all, the main idea is to give Muslim Youths another outlet in watching the World Cup.

Anyway that is where ''Muslim'' youths frequently hang out nowdays...clubs, pubs, gigs

Instead of watching it in a pub...why not watching it in a masjid?

I have plans for tonight, the guys are coming over to catch the the England-Paraguay game at 9pm, then going to watch the ''Silent Hill'' sneak at Tampines Mall at 11 15pm...

Woah...."Silent Hill"...just watching the trailer gives me goosesbumps

It gives me the creeps...

Yikes...*runs away and hides under bed*
